What's New With Wahkiakum Dollars for Scholars?

2020 Didn't stop Wahkiakum Dollars for Scholars from celebrating their recipients. Wahkiakum Dollars for Scholars Lead the graduation celebration parade while handing out awards.   

 "Mule Power Fondo is the major fundraising event for the Wahkiakum chapter each year.

The Wahkiakum Dollars for Scholars' 1st Annual "Mule Power Fondo"  is our new fundraising event. According to board member, Lee Tischer, the chapter's fundraiser event was canceled  May 31, 2020 due to COVID-19 precautions. The next Mule Power Fondo  is scheduled for June 6, 2021 it will be a fun-filled day of bike riding, with four routes from a 6-mile family ride to a 63-mile ride for the more advanced rider seeking to ride all four courses combined with elevation. All proceeds will go towards scholarships for Wahkiakum High School seniors. Those who register will get an event t-shirt, snacks along the routes and a spaghetti lunch at the end of their selected ride.
